Cellphones Review: Sony-Ericsson W900i Cellphones

The Sony Ericsson W900i is a 3G (UMTS) compatible handset, and sports a very impressive feature set. Most noticeable is the W900's large, 2.2" 262k color QVGA display, which is paired with a 2.0 megapixel auto focus camera with LED photo light for impressive imaging prospects. The rear camera also supports video capture at 30fps, doubling the frame rate of most other handsets on the market. The W900 also includes a front facing camera for video calls and self portraits. Being a music orientated phone, the Sony Ericsson W900i includes a large 470Mb of user accessible on board memory, which can be complemented with Memory Stick Duo cards for additional storage. The W900's music player supports playback of MP3, AAC/AAC+, MIDI, WAV and XMF file formats. The Sony Ericsson W900i supports stereo music playback, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. A stereo portable hands free with a remote control is included in the box. The Sony Ericsson W900i is also the first Walkman branded handset to support over-the-air downloading of music.
