The Motorola V600 is easily one of the most talked about phones of 2003. Since Motorola's announcement that they were creating the V600, message boards and mobile news sites around the world have been trying to locate as much information as possible about this phone. Excitement continued to grow as Aston Martin announced they were partnering with Motorola to release 1000 limited edition V600 phones with custom Aston Martin multimedia, and a custom faceplate.
However, all this positive energy turned to frustration as the release date for this phone started to slip. Speculation ran wild. Was it buggy software? Was there a parts shortage? Was the FCC holding the release of this phone? Some even speculated that the V600 was vaporware. Even so, many refused to be influenced by the cynics and held their hopes high that this phone would be released soon.
