Cowon iAudio U3 details released

The specs for Cowon’s new iAudio U3 DAP were posted on the Korean iAudio site today. Deets are as follows… Support for MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC (Level 0,1 &2) and Xvid Mpeg4 with 160 x 128 @ 15 fps (it’s like circa-1996 streaming video all over again), as well as support for JPG, PNG, BMP & TXT file viewing. The screen is a 1.2-inch 160 x 128 pixels, 260,000 color TFT-LCD and the device itself measures 31.5 x 72 x 18 mm and weighs 32.5g. The unit also has line-in recording, FM radio, voice recording, built-in clock, 5 Band EQ and, perhaps most importantly, interchangable “GUI skin colors� — but apparently not actual faceplates.
